4: Install the Windows 7 SP1 Convenience Rollup

I don’t know what you meant about the troubleshooting. These updates will include non-security fixes only, and per the TechNet blog post are going to be roll-ups. But in either case, it would be nice if I could create my own ULZ file to include all the above, and try it again to see if it would work this time.

While I’m here, I notice your downloads list has .NET 4.62 instead of version 4.7, which was released way before you compiled your list, is there any reason for this? But releasing a SP means 1 more year Mainstream Support. I'm wondering if being online has the system still go out and try to do online updates. It is good security practice to open questionable links in a completely different host OS. It’s been over 5 years since Windows 7 received service pack 1 (SP1), an update that compiled all Is Windows Update enabled on your PC?

Integrate The Updates Into The Windows 7 Media

In this ebook we’ll be exploring the multitude of options to fully customize Windows 10. Is there anyway to check to see if the files you are downloading are already in the service pack 1 iso?

Step 7, I un-checked two important updates related to IE8. In the same folder as the regular updates or in another folder? I suppose one could manually correlate the file versions against each KB article of interest but that’s a pretty tedious process. Many thanks to the people who found this workaround.

Even without a SSD or RAM Drive for NTLite the whole process tool less time than a normal install followed by Windows Update. Can’t remember the exact version we used (possibly 1.2.X) because NTLite is updated quite often. Also “Error 0x800706be ‘[1726] The remote procedure call failed.€™ KB4025341” Looking into the latter, 4025341, it’s at least partly associated with I.E 11, & I’ve already discovered that NTLite is smart enough to reject updates to things I haven’t included in the optional extras, so I understand why it’s failing on that one, but do you have any idea why it rejected the Internet Explorer 11 KB2841134 one? 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago* Not so sure about this. After careful analysis of the KB’s included in the rollup, I have found three turds in the punchbowl.

The Convenience Rollup Makes a Big Difference, But Windows 7 Updating is Still Broken

I worry about this because I don’t want to risk changing my system in such a way that various other software might STOP working. I made a short list here: ntlite.Com/community/index.Php?Threads/usb-tools-for-windows-install-from-usb.46/ rufus.Akeo.Ie is the tool that I used to put the NTLite iso to usb. They’ve released new “Service Pack”-like updates for Windows 7 and 8 that include EVERYTHING. They can be manually hidden from inside Windows Update after checking for updates.
